Muddy Waters LLC
Muddy Waters LLC is a small China-based research firm that focuses on uncovering fraudulent China stocks. Most famously, the group discovered fraud at RINO International (RINO) which was later de-listed after admitting to such fraud. In addition, the group targeted Sino-Forest (TRE.T) (SNOFF), calling it a Madoff-like fraud.
The group was founded by Carson Block.
