Mary Schapiro
Mary Schapiro is a financial regulator. She is Barack Obama’s nominee to serve as chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission.
She has worked at the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). While serving as CEO of the NASD, she oversaw its consolidation with NYSE Member Regulation to form FINRA.
