Lawrence (Larry) Kudlow
http://www.kudlow.com/Lawrence (Larry) Kudlow is an American conservative, supply-side economist, and television personality. He currently hosts a business program named Kudlow and Company on CNBC. Kudlow is also the economics editor for the political magazine, The National Review. In addition, he is the CEO of Kudlow and Company, an economic research and consulting firm.
Kudlow attended the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York and graduated in 1969 with a degree in history. He also attended Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs where he studied politics and economics. He then worked at the New York Federal Reserve Bank in the division that handled the open market operations, which involves the buying and selling of bonds to control interest rates.
During the first term of the Reagan Administration, Kudlow worked in the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). In addition, he worked for Bear Stearns Companies as chief economist and has also served as an economic counsel to AB Laffer & Associates, which is a supply-side economics institute. Kudlow constantly calls for lower taxes on his show and believes corporate compensation should be left to the free market and not determined by the government. Kudlow's creed is "I believe free market capitalism is the best path to prosperity."
