Trump graduated from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania in 1968 with a BS in economics and a concentration in finance. He then joined his father's company, the Trump Organization, where he developed and revitalized properties in Manhattan.
Trump found additional success as a TV star on the hit show The Apprentice, where he coined the term 'You're Fired!'.
In 2016, Trump ran for President of the U.S. as a Republican. After topping a large field of 16 other Republicans he was selected as the nominees. He then faced Democrat Hillary Clinton and beat her in a contentious race to become President of the U.S. Trump's platform of 'Make America Great Again' and 'Drain the Swamp' resonated with white, working class citizens.
