Dun & Bradstreet integrates business data with Microsoft AI agents
Dun & Bradstreet announced new Model Context Protocol integrations with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales agents, allowing organizations to build AI workflows using the D&B Commercial Graph, according to a company press release dated Sept. 16, 2026.
The integrations enable users to access Dun & Bradstreet's verified business identity, relationship, and risk data within Microsoft's AI platforms. Organizations can use the D&B Commercial Graph to customize agentic workflows across finance and credit, compliance, sales and marketing, and enterprise master data management use cases in Microsoft Copilot Studio.
The integration also allows users to enrich Microsoft's prebuilt Dynamics 365 Sales agents, including the Sales Qualification Agent and Sales Opportunity Agent, with Dun & Bradstreet's business data. This enables those agents to research accounts, qualify leads, assess opportunity health, identify risk signals, and prioritize seller actions.
The D&B Commercial Graph is anchored by the D-U-N-S Number business identifier, which Dun & Bradstreet originated in 1963. The company states the identifier functions as a verified identity layer intended to help AI agents operate from a consistent data foundation across systems.
"As organizations deploy more AI agents across their business, the quality of the data that informs those agents becomes increasingly important," said Elizabeth Barrette, General Manager for Master Data Management Solutions at Dun & Bradstreet. "The D&B Commercial Graph provides a consistent foundation of verified business identity, relationships and risk data, helping organizations build AI workflows that are grounded in a common understanding of the businesses they work with."
Use cases supported through Microsoft Copilot Studio include credit and risk evaluation, third-party onboarding, compliance, supply chain management, and account-based marketing.
