Littelfuse names Dr. Karim Hamed to lead electronics units

Littelfuse, Inc. (NASDAQ: LFUS) announced a senior leadership transition, with Deepak Nayar set to retire at the end of 2027 after more than 20 years with the company.

Effective January 1, 2027, Dr. Karim Hamed will take on the expanded role of Senior Vice President and General Manager, CCDI Market & Electronics Segment. In this role, he will oversee both the Electronics and Semiconductor businesses under a unified structure, as well as the company's Computing, Communications, and Diversified Industrials market strategy.

Nayar will transition to a Special Advisor to the CEO role ahead of his retirement.

"Throughout his tenure, he has played a pivotal role in driving our growth strategy while expanding our global market presence across our broad customer base."

Dr. Hamed joined Littelfuse in 2025 as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Semiconductor Business. He brings more than two decades of experience in the semiconductor industry. Prior to joining Littelfuse, he served as Corporate Vice President of the Industrial and Healthcare Business Group at Analog Devices. He previously held roles at Hittite Microwave Corporation, TriQuint Semiconductor, and Mimix Broadband.

The announcement was made in a press release issued by the Chicago-based company.
