September 15, 2026 10:01 AM

SPS Commerce (NASDAQ: SPSC) announced the general availability of MAX, its agentic AI supply chain offering, along with two new products — Visibility Management and Decision Intelligence — according to a company press release.

MAX is now available to SPS Commerce's fulfillment customer base, which numbers in the tens of thousands. The product emerged from an early access program that generated hundreds of thousands of AI interactions across thousands of customers. MAX is currently available for Fulfillment and Visibility Management, with planned rollouts to Revenue Recovery and Decision Intelligence.

The company also announced progress on AI-assisted customer onboarding. An Onboarding Agent has moved more than 300 customers to supplier readiness. A Validation Agent, still in testing, resolves errors an average of 29% faster by combining network data, retailer and supplier maps, and historical trading partner setups. Human consultants review and approve every recommendation before it is applied.

Decision Intelligence expands SPS Commerce's existing analytics offering by connecting sell-through, inventory, and supply chain data from multiple retailers into a single view organized around assortment, inventory placement, availability, and forecasting decisions.

Visibility Management connects ERP, warehouse management, transportation management, and carrier systems into a real-time view of purchase order status, and works alongside MAX to surface potential supply chain issues before they affect revenue.

SPS Commerce cited Gartner data indicating that 55% of chief supply chain officers are unclear on the return of their AI investments, even as AI accounts for 67% of supply chain digital investment.

"Artificial intelligence has the power to change how supply chains operate, but its value depends on the quality of the data and intelligence behind it," said Mike Svatek, Chief Product Officer at SPS Commerce.

The company states its network spans more than 300,000 trading relationships and processes over 750 million annual transactions through more than 400 system automation partners.
