Rhelion unit signs USC supply deal for psilocybin drug candidate

September 15, 2026 8:00 AM

Rhelion Life Sciences Corp. (CSE: RHEL, FSE: 4YX0, OTCQB: TRUFF) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Filament Health Corp., has entered into a supply and licensing agreement with the University of Southern California's Keck School of Medicine for its botanical psilocybin drug candidate, PEX010.

Under the agreement, PEX010 will be supplied as the investigational drug product for a study examining whether structured mindfulness meditation training can augment psilocybin-assisted therapy, including in a clinical depression cohort. Filament is not the sponsor of the trial and is not responsible for its conduct.

PEX010 is produced using Filament's proprietary extraction, purification, and stabilization methods, which the company says provides consistent composition across doses and research sites. According to the press release, Filament supplies and supports more than 80 academic and philanthropic research studies worldwide.

Rhelion completed its acquisition of Filament Health Corp. on April 30, 2026. The acquisition included a portfolio of 77 issued patents across 13 patent families, along with PEX010 as the lead drug candidate.
