HawkEye 360 and ERA partner on defense RF surveillance
HawkEye 360 (NYSE: HAWK), a signals intelligence company, announced a collaboration with ERA a.s., a Czech-based passive surveillance and tracking technology provider, according to a company press release dated Sept. 15, 2026.
Under the agreement, ERA will serve as an international processing partner for automated terrestrial and maritime radar products derived from HawkEye 360's radio frequency (RF) data. The arrangement combines HawkEye 360's space-based signals intelligence and RF analytics with ERA's integration and mission-workflow capabilities.
The collaboration is aimed at providing defense and security customers with faster access to RF-derived insights for use in operational environments.
"European defense organizations are seeking faster, more integrated ways to understand increasingly complex operating environments," said John Serafini, Chief Executive Officer of HawkEye 360. "By combining HawkEye 360's space-based signals intelligence with ERA's automation and processing expertise, we can deliver actionable information more quickly to support allied warfighters and defense leaders across Europe."
ERA CEO Ondřej Chlost noted growing customer interest in integrating passive surveillance systems into existing defense solutions. "We are seeing growing customer interest worldwide—not only in advanced passive surveillance systems and their role in modern defense concepts, particularly in SIGINT, but also in integrating existing solutions already deployed in the field to unlock new capabilities," he said.
ERA a.s., a member of the Omnipol Group, is headquartered in Pardubice, Czech Republic, and reports installations in more than 70 countries. HawkEye 360 completed its initial public offering in May 2026.
