Topicus.com names Ramon Zanders as CEO, replacing van Poelje
Topicus.com Inc. (TSX-V: TOI) announced that Robin van Poelje will retire as Chief Executive Officer on Oct. 1, 2026, for personal reasons, with Ramon Zanders named as his successor.
Zanders currently serves as Group CEO of the Total Specific Solutions Blue operating group within Topicus and will retain that role alongside his new responsibilities as CEO. He has also been appointed to the Topicus Board of Directors. Van Poelje will remain on the board as Chairman following his retirement.
Mark Miller, President of Constellation Software and a director of Topicus.com Cooperatief U.A., said, "Robin has led Topicus, and its predecessor TSS, with tremendous discipline and integrity for over sixteen years. We're fully confident in Ramon and the rest of the executive team at Topicus to deliver a seamless transition."
As part of the leadership transition, the Topicus Board plans to implement an enhanced decentralization strategy for its TSS operating groups, with each expected to function as an autonomous, stand-alone entity. The Total Specific Solutions Public operating group, led by Han Knooren, expects to change its name as it moves toward becoming an autonomous unit, with an announcement planned once the change is complete.
Separately, Daan Dijkhuizen, Group CEO of the Topicus operating group, will join Constellation Software to support its artificial intelligence initiatives. Miller said the company expects to benefit from Dijkhuizen's "extensive experience and expertise in supporting our AI implementation strategy."
