Target names Mark Weinstein as chief marketing officer
Target Corporation (NYSE: TGT) announced that Mark Weinstein has joined the company as chief marketing and guest experience officer, effective immediately, according to a company press release.
Weinstein reports directly to Michael Fiddelke, Target's chief executive officer. He previously served as global chief marketing officer at Hilton, where he oversaw all 28 brands and Hilton Honors, and also led the company's luxury brands division.
In his new role, Weinstein will oversee Roundel, Target's retail media network, and Target+, its online marketplace. He will also be responsible for shaping consumer engagement across Target's shopping and brand experiences.
"Mark has a proven ability to understand what consumers value and turn those insights into brand connections that feel relevant and personal," Fiddelke said in the statement.
Target operates more than 2,000 U.S. stores and employs more than 400,000 people.
