PetMeds names Andrew Parry as chief technology officer
PetMed Express, Inc. (NASDAQ: PETS), which operates under the PetMeds brand and owns PetCareRx, announced the appointment of Andrew Parry as Chief Technology Officer, effective immediately, according to a company press release.
Parry will oversee technology strategy, platform architecture, and engineering across the company's e-commerce, pharmacy, and enterprise systems.
Parry joins PetMeds from The ODP Corporation, where he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. In that role, he led technology operations for the company's retail, business solutions, and supply-chain units and executed a multi-year initiative to implement generative AI and workflow automation. He was appointed Chief Information Officer at ODP in 2023, having spent nearly two decades at Office Depot prior in roles spanning application development, customer-facing systems, and enterprise architecture.
Leslie C.G. Campbell, Interim Chief Executive Officer and President of PetMeds, commented on the appointment: "Andrew's track record modernizing complex, customer-facing platforms while driving real cost efficiency makes him the right leader to continue strengthening our technology foundation."
Parry said he looks forward to "modernizing our platforms, leveraging technology to drive scale, optimize performance and enhance the customer experience."
PetMeds was founded in 1996 and operates as a national online pharmacy licensed across all 50 states.
