Rimini Street and Datacom form Oracle and SAP support deal in ANZ
Rimini Street Inc. (NASDAQ: RMNI) has entered into a reseller partnership with Datacom, a technology services provider operating across Australia and New Zealand, according to a press release from Rimini Street.
Under the agreement, Datacom will offer Rimini Support for Oracle and SAP software to its public and private sector clients across the two countries. The support services include level 4 support, security, and compliance solutions for customers running perpetually licensed versions of Oracle and SAP software.
Rimini Street describes the partnership as its first of this kind in the Australia and New Zealand region. Datacom employs nearly 6,000 people across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.
Rimini Street claims clients can save up to 90% of total enterprise software support costs by switching to third-party support, with the freed budget directed toward initiatives such as cloud migration and AI projects.
"This is a first-of-its-kind partnership for Rimini Street in this region," said Shirley Riddick, GVP and regional GM for ANZ at Rimini Street. "Rimini Street and Datacom together can help organisations maximise the full value of their current investments, reduce operating risk and leapfrog innovation by deploying Agentic AI in weeks, not months, on top of their existing systems."
Dave Payne, director of Core Platforms for Australia and New Zealand at Datacom, said the partnership "allows Datacom to provide our clients across ANZ with a proven solution that helps to extend the life and value of their enterprise software investments so they can continue on their AI journeys."
The arrangement will form part of Datacom's core platforms portfolio. Rimini Street is listed on the Nasdaq exchange and is a component of the Russell 2000 index.
