Virtuix reports 3X order growth and new defense contracts
Virtuix Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: VTIX) reported that orders for its Omni One consumer product have increased approximately threefold quarter-to-date compared to the same period last year, following the June launch of Omni One for Quest in collaboration with Meta. The Austin, Texas-based company also disclosed progress across its defense and enterprise segments, according to a press release dated Sept. 14, 2026.
The order growth follows a 72% year-over-year increase reported in the company's first fiscal quarter. Virtuix said the Meta Quest integration expanded the product's addressable market.
On the defense side, Virtuix received its first contract revenue from the U.S. Air Force under an AFWERX Small Business Innovation Research Phase I award for its Virtual Terrain Walk platform. The company said it expects to complete Phase I this month and intends to submit a Phase II proposal, which could provide up to approximately $2 million in additional funding.
Virtuix is also showcasing a Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System Personnel Trainer at the Maneuver Warfighter Conference, developed in collaboration with LeadTech. The company said installation of a four-person Infantry Fireteam Trainer for the U.S. Marine Corps at Quantico, Virginia is expected later this year.
In its enterprise segment, Tesla placed repeat Omni One Enterprise orders for use in its Optimus humanoid robot program. Figure AI also purchased the system. Additional enterprise sales were made to NASA, KBR, Sirica Therapeutics, and several research institutions.
Virtuix also disclosed that it is in advanced negotiations for a potential strategic acquisition of a defense-sector target with annual revenues near the upper end of its previously announced $10 million to $50 million target range. The company said the transaction remains subject to negotiation, due diligence, definitive agreements, financing, and customary closing conditions, with no assurance that a deal will be completed.
