Conduent Incorporated (Nasdaq: CNDT) appointed Narayanan Sundaresan as Chief Information and Technology Officer, effective September 14, 2026, according to a company statement.

Sundaresan brings more than 28 years of experience in enterprise technology leadership, with a focus on AI-driven transformation, enterprise platform modernization, cybersecurity, and data governance.

Before joining Conduent, Sundaresan served as Global Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Digital Products and Technology at Strategic Education, where he led AI work redesign, hyper-automation initiatives, and technology harmonization across business units. He previously held technology leadership roles at Capella Education Company.

Sundaresan holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management, an M.S. in Software Engineering from the University of St. Thomas, and completed the High Potential Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.

In his new role, Sundaresan will oversee Conduent's global technology organization, with a focus on AI adoption and technology infrastructure. "My focus will be on two things that go hand in hand: accelerating the build-out of AI-powered capabilities across every part of the enterprise and scaling a technology infrastructure that is both secure and reliable enough to support that growth," Sundaresan said.

Conduent CEO Harsha V. Agadi said the appointment is intended to advance the company's technology and AI strategy.
