Chamberlain University, a subsidiary of Covista (NYSE: CVSA), announced Jason Dunne as its next Chief Academic Officer, effective Sept. 14, 2026. Dunne will report to Chamberlain President Amelia Manning and will oversee academic strategy, faculty development, and curriculum across the university's campuses and online programs, which serve approximately 40,000 students.

Dunne most recently served as Chief Academic Officer at Arizona College of Nursing, where he led academic operations across more than 20 bachelor of science in nursing campuses and oversaw the opening of 14 new campuses over four years. He also developed international nursing partnerships in Canada, Jamaica, and the Philippines.

Before Arizona College of Nursing, Dunne spent six years at Chamberlain, serving as Campus President of the Miramar campus from 2015 to 2020, Campus President of the Jacksonville campus from 2018 to 2020, and later as Senior Director of Campus Operations for the South Region. He began his career as a registered nurse in community health, critical care, emergency, and medical-surgical settings. He currently serves as President of the Nursing Consortium of Florida.

"Jason Dunne brings a combination of bedside experience and academic leadership at the highest level, and that shapes how he approaches nursing education," Manning said.

Dunne's appointment coincides with Chamberlain's plan to open 10 to 15 new campuses through fiscal year 2029. The university offers pre-licensure and post-licensure nursing programs, a Master of Physician Assistant Studies, a Master of Public Health, and a Master of Social Work.
