Evaxion A/S (NASDAQ: EVAX), a clinical-stage biotechnology company, announced it has begun applying its AI-Immunology™ platform to autoimmune diseases, expanding beyond its existing focus on cancer and infectious diseases.

According to a press release, the Copenhagen-based company is testing two treatment concepts: a tolerogenic vaccine approach and an autoantibody binder concept. The tolerogenic approach uses T-cell epitopes combined with immune modulators intended to direct the immune system toward tolerance. The autoantibody binder concept uses an antigen construct designed to capture autoantibodies, which the company describes as key drivers of tissue damage in many autoimmune conditions.

Evaxion states that initial experimental data from these programs will be presented at the Protein & Antibody Engineering Summit (PEGS) Europe in Lisbon, Portugal, on November 18, 2026.

The company said the expansion into autoimmune diseases represents a milestone in its 2026 pipeline development. Evaxion currently employs more than 40 people and maintains a pipeline of cancer and infectious disease vaccine candidates.
