Quanterix Corporation (Nasdaq: QTRX) has appointed Dr. Yuri Fesko as Chief Medical Officer, according to a company press release. Fesko previously served as Chief Medical Officer at Quest Diagnostics, where he oversaw Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Analytics, and Public Health.

In his new role, Fesko will provide medical and clinical leadership across Quanterix, working with the company's Diagnostics, Scientific, R&D, Regulatory, and Commercial teams. He will be based at Quanterix's headquarters in Billerica, Mass.

Fesko holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Case Western Reserve University and completed a fellowship at University Hospitals of Cleveland. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology.

Everett Cunningham, President and CEO of Quanterix, said the appointment comes as the company prepares for a broader market launch of its Lucent AD Complete five-biomarker test for Alzheimer's disease. Cunningham also cited the planned advancement of an IVD filing for the company's HD-X instrument as a key priority for the new role.

Throughout his career, Fesko has worked across oncology, metabolic disease, neurology, and consumer health, with experience supporting FDA submissions, clinical development, companion diagnostic strategies, and reimbursement planning.
