Soluna Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: SLNH) announced that ERCOT has conditionally classified its 100 MW Project Dorothy campus as Base Load in Batch Zero, the grid operator's transitional process for evaluating large load interconnection requests.

The classification follows a conditional Base Load position granted the prior week for the full 166 MW at Soluna's Project Kati, bringing the combined conditional base load total across its two Texas campuses to 266 MW.

A Base Load classification preserves a project's interconnection capacity based on prior study work and exempts it from further reliability evaluation or megawatt allocation within the Batch Zero study. The classification remains conditional pending ERCOT's ongoing verification process, during which ERCOT may remove a project if the applicant does not respond to information requests. Soluna stated it is participating in the verification process.

Soluna has also submitted a load interconnection request for an additional 50 MW at the Dorothy site. Because the request falls below the Batch Zero threshold, the transmission and distribution service provider is studying it directly.

Project Dorothy is a wind-powered campus in Briscoe County, Texas, built behind the meter at the 150 MW Briscoe Wind Farm, which Soluna acquired in April 2026. Dorothy 1 and Dorothy 2 account for 98 MW of energized capacity. A next phase, Project Dorothy 3, is planned at 300 MW and is designed for AI and high-performance computing.

ERCOT reported more than 438,000 MW of large load requests in its queue as of mid-2026, with nearly 90% attributed to data centers.

Soluna's total operating capacity is approximately 206 MW. The company also reports a development pipeline of approximately 6.3 GW.
