Hub Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: HUBG) announced on Sept. 14, 2026, that David Yeager is returning to the role of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, while Phillip Yeager will continue serving as President and Vice Chairman.

The Oak Brook, Ill.-based company also appointed Patrick O'Donnell as Chief Financial Officer, though he will not assume the role until after the company files its Annual Report on Form 10-K for fiscal year ended December 31, 2025. O'Donnell has joined the company in the interim as a special advisor and CFO-Elect.

Todd Heeter will remain as Interim Chief Financial Officer, leading the completion of the company's previously announced financial restatement process.

O'Donnell brings more than 20 years of finance and accounting experience. He spent over eight years at TreeHouse Foods, most recently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for three years. Before that, he spent nearly 15 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers in audit and assurance roles. He holds a degree from Marquette University.

"He brings over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting and a proven track record of strengthening financial and operating discipline, driving process improvements and building high-performing teams," David Yeager said of O'Donnell.

Hub Group noted that risks related to the leadership transition include the company's ability to complete its financial restatement and regain compliance with Nasdaq's listing rules.
