Senseonics Holdings (NASDAQ: SENS) announced a partnership with Beta Bionics (NASDAQ: BBNX) to integrate the Eversense 365 continuous glucose monitoring system with the iLet Bionic Pancreas automated insulin delivery system, according to a press release dated Sept. 14, 2026.

The companies plan to complete development of the integrated system in the fourth quarter of 2026, with a commercial launch targeted for the same period, subject to required testing, validation activities, and applicable regulatory requirements.

The Eversense 365 is an implantable sensor that measures glucose levels for up to 365 days and requires fingerstick calibration primarily once per week after day 14. The iLet Bionic Pancreas is an automated insulin delivery system that autonomously determines and delivers insulin doses without requiring carbohydrate counting, though users must remain carb aware.

Tim Goodnow, President and Chief Executive Officer of Senseonics, said the collaboration will "expand our reach to a greater population of people to enable them to manage their diabetes with the most advanced technologies available today."

Senseonics, based in Germantown, Md., develops implantable glucose monitoring technology. The Eversense 365 sensor is inserted under the skin and communicates with a transmitter worn over the sensor, sending glucose data every five minutes to a smartphone app. The sensor insertion and removal procedures must be performed by a health care provider, and the system is available by prescription only.
