Baker Hughes (NASDAQ: BKR) has received two equipment orders from Venture Global LNG to support U.S. natural gas infrastructure projects in Louisiana, according to a press release dated Sept. 13, 2026.

The first order covers 13 gas compression systems driven by Frame 5/2E gas turbines for Venture Global's Cloud Connector Pipeline project. Baker Hughes describes the award as one of the largest deployments of gas compression systems for LNG feed gas transportation in the United States. The systems will bring the total fleet of Frame 5/2E-driven compression packages for the Plaquemines LNG facility to 23 units.

The second order covers four liquefaction blocks, comprising eight liquefaction modules, to support expanded production capacity at the Plaquemines LNG facility. Each block is based on two electric-motor driven, single mixed-refrigerant liquefaction modules with associated compression trains, cold boxes, air coolers, and integrated control systems. Baker Hughes said the scope is similar to an award it recently received for Venture Global's CP2 project.

Mike Sabel, CEO of Venture Global, said the collaboration "supports our expansion plans" and helps ensure reliable feed gas transportation to meet the company's goal of supplying LNG to global markets.

Baker Hughes chairman and CEO Lorenzo Simonelli said the company is "proud to work alongside our partners at Venture Global as they expand Plaquemines LNG, providing the critical energy infrastructure needed to meet growing global long-term global energy demand."

Baker Hughes said the combined awards support more than 100 million tonnes per annum of existing and planned LNG production capacity connected to its relationship with Venture Global.
