Rocket Lab launches 16th Electron mission of 2026, its 95th overall
Rocket Lab Corporation (Nasdaq: RKLB) launched its 16th Electron rocket of the year on Sept. 11, 2026, carrying a single Earth observation satellite to orbit for a confidential customer.
The mission, named "Happily Ever Faster," lifted off from Rocket Lab Launch Complex 1 in New Zealand at 3:28 p.m. NZST and successfully deployed the satellite to a 500km circular low Earth orbit.
The launch marks Rocket Lab's 95th Electron mission overall. The company said its next Electron launch is scheduled before the end of the month from Launch Complex 1, serving another commercial constellation operator.
