Thor Industries names new leadership for North American RV operations
Thor Industries, Inc. (NYSE: THO) announced several leadership changes tied to a restructuring of its North American recreational vehicle operating model, according to a press release dated Sept. 10, 2026.
Ken Walters, who previously served as President of Jayco and the Jayco and Tiffin Motorhomes group, will assume the role of President of North American RV operations, reporting to Thor executive management in Elkhart, Ind. Walters will coordinate RV operations across all of Thor's North American operating companies.
Nic Martin, formerly Vice President of Sales at Jayco, will succeed Walters as President of Jayco. Mike Ritchie, previously Vice President of Finance at Jayco, will become CFO of North American RV operations, continuing to report to Colleen Zuhl, Senior Vice President and CFO of Thor. Trey Miller, former Vice President of Marketing at Jayco, will become Chief Marketing Officer of Thor's North American RV operations.
Troy James, who served as Chief Operating Officer of the Thor Motor Coach and Keystone group, will become President of Keystone.
As part of the restructuring, Thor will organize into three distinct operating groups: North American RV, European, and Supply. The company said the shift from two North American RV groups to a single coordinated structure is intended to accelerate the benefits of consolidation.
"Our structure has been decentralized for decades, so this is an involved process but one with potentially significant benefits and cost savings as its outcome," said Bob Martin, President and CEO of Thor.
Todd Woelfer, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Thor, said the company intends to drive out costs to strengthen its earnings profile and address affordability concerns for RV retail customers and dealers.
Thor Industries is based in Elkhart, Ind., and claims to be the world's largest manufacturer of recreational vehicles.
