Adobe beats Q3 targets, but soft Q4 sales guidance triggers dip
Investing.com -- Adobe Inc. (NASDAQ: ADBE) topped Wall Street’s third-quarter estimates on robust subscription growth, though shares edged down 2.5% after the software maker delivered a fourth-quarter revenue forecast that fell just short of expectations.
The software company posted adjusted earnings per share of $6.13 for the third quarter, surpassing the analyst consensus of $6.07. Revenue reached $6.76 billion, beating the $6.69 billion estimate and representing 13% growth YoY. For the fourth quarter, Adobe issued revenue guidance of $6.80 billion to $6.85 billion, with a midpoint of $6.825 billion that falls short of the $6.85 billion analyst consensus. The company expects fourth quarter adjusted EPS of $6.30 to $6.35, with a midpoint of $6.325 billion matching the $6.30 consensus.
Adobe raised its full-year fiscal 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $26.576 billion to $26.626 billion and increased its full-year adjusted EPS target to $24.45 to $24.50. The company also announced reaching a milestone of more than one billion monthly active users across its creativity and productivity solutions.

Total Customer Group subscription revenue was $6.56 billion, up 14% YoY. Business Professionals & Consumers subscription revenue grew 16% YoY to $1.91 billion, while Creative & Marketing Professionals subscription revenue increased 13% YoY to $4.65 billion. The company generated $2.52 billion in cash flows from operations during the quarter and repurchased approximately 9.5 million shares. Total annualized recurring revenue exiting the quarter was $27.50 billion.
