Eaton has developed Workbench 360, a platform designed to connect its electrical equipment data and engineering information with Autodesk's Revit, Forma and Tandem software, according to a press release from the Pittsburgh-based company.

The tool is intended to help project teams manage building electrical systems across design, construction and operations phases. Through Autodesk Revit, engineers can access Eaton's building information modeling content and product data during the design process. As projects move into construction, Workbench 360 is designed to provide visibility into equipment status, submittals, order milestones and shipping information through Forma Build. In operations, the platform connects with Autodesk Tandem and Eaton's Brightlayer digital energy twin capabilities to support asset management.

"As buildings become more electrified and infrastructure projects become more complex, customers need new ways to connect design decisions with project execution and long-term operations," said Justin Carron, director of buildings and campuses at Eaton.

Sid Haksar, head of construction strategy and partnerships at Autodesk, said the collaboration aims to "reduce friction between project phases and maintain the context they need throughout the building lifecycle."

Eaton reported revenues of $27.4 billion in 2025 and serves customers in 180 countries. The company plans to demonstrate Workbench 360 at Autodesk University at booth 2216.
