Smith Micro Software (NASDAQ: SMSI) announced a new multi-year, multi-SKU agreement with an unnamed major U.S. mobile operator, expanding an existing partnership focused on family safety software.

The agreement centers on Smith Micro's SafePath platform and is intended to support the development of new services and features for the operator's customers. The company did not disclose financial terms or identify the carrier.

According to a press release from the Pittsburgh-based company, the agreement establishes a framework for product innovation and broader deployment across the carrier's customer base.
