Fluence, a professional education company focused on psychedelic therapy, has been selected by Compass Pathways plc (Nasdaq: CMPS) to develop a clinician certificate program tied to COMP360, Compass Pathways' investigational synthetic psilocybin treatment currently being evaluated for treatment-resistant depression.

The selection was made through a competitive process, according to a press release from Fluence. The resulting program, called the Post-Approval COMP360 Psilocybin Certificate Program, is designed to prepare healthcare providers to support patients receiving COMP360 treatment, contingent on U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval.

The program will be structured across three modules: Foundations of Psychedelic Care, Understanding Psilocybin, and COMP360 Certification. The curriculum will cover patient preparation, treatment administration, applicable regulations, and follow-up care, combining Fluence's clinician training experience with Compass Pathways' clinical guidance for COMP360.

Fluence was chosen based on its expertise in psychedelic training design and delivery, ability to scale, commitment to access and inclusion, and regulatory alignment, according to the company.

Fluence said it also supports healthcare organizations in managing clinical workforces, offering a training operations platform that provides real-time data on provider training progress, completion, and credentialing.
