America's Consortium for Electric Skyways (ACES), launched by Archer Aviation, BETA Technologies and Macquarie Capital, announced plans to expand interoperable electric aviation charging infrastructure in Texas to support the state's participation in the White House's eVTOL Integration Pilot Program (eIPP).

The consortium said it will work with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) over the coming months to identify where aircraft operators plan to fly under the eIPP and determine where charging infrastructure should be located. Target sites include airports, fixed-base operators (FBOs) and other points of interest.

TxDOT was selected for the eIPP in March 2026. The agency has outlined plans for regional test flights connecting the Texas Triangle — Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio and Houston — as well as rural communities.

ACES has set a goal to electrify up to 250 air taxi sites across major U.S. airports and metro areas over the next decade. The consortium said its infrastructure model is designed to allow multiple operators to use the same chargers, built on an open standard.

Archer separately launched its "No Roads" flight tour, a city-to-city flight test program for its all-electric Midnight air taxi conducted in coordination with the FAA. The company said those flights are intended to support eIPP operations in Texas, Florida and New York, and flights in the Los Angeles area later this year ahead of the LA28 Games.
