Core Scientific, Inc. (NASDAQ: CORZ) has received conditional approvals from the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) for electrical power capacity across three of its Texas data center sites, according to a company statement.

At its Denton, Texas site, the existing 297 megawatts of electrical power has been conditionally approved as "Base Load, Pathway (a)," classified as longstanding existing load energized prior to March 25, 2022, and is not subject to ERCOT's Batch Zero allocation process. An additional 74 megawatts at the site was previously validated in ERCOT's 2025 Regional Transmission Plan study and is also exempt from the Batch Zero process.

At its Pecos, Texas site, 300 megawatts of existing power has been conditionally approved in Batch Zero as "Base Load, Pathway (b)," covering load energized after March 25, 2022, and before July 10, 2026. An additional 300 megawatts received conditional approval as "Studied Load." The company states all required documentation has been submitted and collateral paid, though final allocation and load ramp will not be confirmed until the Batch Zero process concludes.

At its Hunt, Texas site, 431 megawatts of planned electrical power has been conditionally approved in Batch Zero as "Base Load, Advancing Large Load, Pathway (e)." The company reports it has completed required interconnection studies, received ERCOT approval of a 431-megawatt stability study, posted financial collateral, ordered long-lead equipment, and commenced construction.
