Quest Diagnostics to offer lab tests through Apple Health app for $119
Quest Diagnostics (NYSE: DGX) announced that Apple Health app users in the United States will be able to purchase a laboratory test panel directly through the app on iPhone and iPad later this year.
The panel includes over 50 biomarkers and is priced at $119. Users can schedule a blood draw and biometric readings at one of Quest's approximately 2,000 patient service centers across the country. Biometric readings included in the panel measure blood pressure, height, weight, and waist and hip circumferences.
Lab results will appear within the Apple Health app shortly after testing. Quest works with third-party providers to review and approve test orders and, at the user's request, discuss results and next steps at no additional charge.
Apple announced the upcoming integration at its September event.
"By embedding the Quest lab testing experience within the Apple Health app, we are making testing simpler, smarter and more available to people who want to connect biomarker and biometric insights to own their health," said Richard Adams, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Consumer, Quest Diagnostics.
The service will not be available in all U.S. states. According to the press release, the feature is expected to launch later in 2026.
