Ball Corporation adds two directors with manufacturing and finance backgrounds

Ball Corporation (NYSE: BALL) has appointed Darlene J. Nicosia and Sherry L. Buck to its board of directors, the company announced Sept. 9, 2026.



Nicosia is the chief executive officer of Maker's Pride, a U.S. contract packaged food manufacturer. She has more than 30 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, including roles at The Coca-Cola Company, where she served as President of Canada and Northeast U.S. and as Chief Procurement Officer. She also previously served on the board of directors of Foot Locker, Inc. from 2020 to 2025, where she chaired the Audit Committee. Nicosia will serve on Ball's Nominating/Corporate Governance Committee and Finance Committee.



Buck retired in 2025 as Chief Financial Officer of W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc., a position she held for five years. Before that, she served as CFO of Waters Corporation from 2017 to 2020 and CFO of Libbey, Inc. from 2012 to 2016. She spent nearly two decades at Whirlpool Corporation and began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Buck currently serves on the board of Lennox International, Inc. and chairs its Audit Committee. She will serve on Ball's Audit Committee and Finance Committee.



Stuart A. Taylor II, Chairman of Ball's Board of Directors, said the two appointees are "proven executives with strong financial expertise grounded in operations" whose "combined leadership across global manufacturing, procurement and finance will strengthen the Board's ability to support management."



Ball Corporation reported 2025 net sales of $13.16 billion and operates more than 65 manufacturing plants and facilities worldwide with approximately 16,000 employees.
