Roku and NFL expand NFL Zone hub to Canada, Mexico, and Brazil

September 9, 2026 6:19 AM

Roku (NASDAQ: ROKU) and the National Football League announced the international expansion of the NFL Zone, a content hub within the Roku Sports experience, extending its availability from the U.S. to Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.

The NFL Zone provides access to live and upcoming games, NFL Fast Channel highlights, clips, and other NFL content. The expansion follows the launch of the Roku Sports experience in Mexico in 2025 and earlier this year in Brazil and Canada.

According to the press release, streaming hours across Roku Sports experiences grew 122% year-over-year, and unique U.S. visitors rose 80% in the second quarter.

The expansion also brings the NFL Channel — a free, ad-supported 24/7 programming service — to viewers in the U.K., Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. The company said this marks the first time international fans will have free access to the channel's round-the-clock content.

"With the NFL Zone, we're bringing the League's content together in one place," said Joe Franzetta, Head of Sports, Roku Media. "We've seen the success of the NFL Zone domestically, and we're excited to bring that experience to Canada, Mexico, and Brazil this season."

U.S. viewers retain access to the NFL App and NFL Channel through the Zone, including NFL+, which offers live local and primetime games on mobile, NFL Network, live game audio, and on-demand content. An NFL+ Premium subscription adds game replays and NFL RedZone.
