The Boston Beer Company (NYSE: SAM) announced the appointment of Allison Stransky as chief marketing officer, effective October 12, 2026.

Stransky joins from Samsung Electronics America, where she served as vice president and CMO, overseeing corporate marketing and communications, data analytics, AI-led transformation, sustainability, and citizenship. Before Samsung, she spent five years at Google advising clients on data-driven advertising strategies. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at L'Oréal, Unilever, and Johnson & Johnson.

In her new role, Stransky will lead marketing for Boston Beer's portfolio of brands, including Samuel Adams, Dogfish Head, Twisted Tea, Sun Cruiser, Truly Hard Seltzer, and Angry Orchard. Her responsibilities will include brand management, shopper marketing, digital and social media, integrated communications, media, sponsorships, experiential marketing, and consumer insights.

Stransky will report to Founder, Chairman, President and CEO Jim Koch, as well as Chief Operating Officer Phil Hodges, who served as interim CMO during the search process. She is expected to remain with Samsung through the end of September 2026.

"We've always believed that great brands are built by challenging convention and staying close to the consumer," said Koch. "Allison brings a fresh perspective shaped by experience at some of the world's leading companies, along with a genuine passion for brand building and innovation."
