SEALSQ highlights Quobly's new partnerships in quantum expansion

September 8, 2026 8:32 AM

SEALSQ Corp (NASDAQ: LAES) highlighted progress in its SEALQuantum strategy, pointing to new collaborations announced by Quobly, a French quantum computing company in which SEALSQ is a lead investor, according to a company statement.

Quobly recently announced partnerships with TNO and Orange Quantum Systems aimed at strengthening characterization, metrology and automated testing capabilities for silicon-based quantum processors, with the goal of accelerating their transition from laboratory research to industrial-scale deployment.

SEALSQ participated as a lead investor in Quobly's €115 million Series A financing round, which closed in June 2026 and was also led by Bpifrance and STMicroelectronics. Earlier this year, SEALSQ and Quobly entered into a separate $5 million commercial agreement to integrate SEALSQ's post-quantum security technologies into quantum computing platforms.

Quobly, founded in 2022 and headquartered in Grenoble, France, develops silicon spin qubit processors using a 300 mm FD-SOI manufacturing platform in collaboration with STMicroelectronics. The company has more than 100 employees and plans to offer first cloud access to its systems by the end of 2026, with a target of one million qubits by 2032.

Maud Vinet, CEO and co-founder of Quobly, said the collaborations with TNO and Orange Quantum Systems "strengthen two important parts of that industrialization effort," adding that SEALSQ's role as both investor and technology partner "brings post-quantum security capabilities into the quantum computing platforms we are building."

SEALSQ's SEALQuantum initiative has a stated target allocation of $200 million, with more than $60 million reported as deployed across its quantum and post-quantum ecosystem to date.
