EagleNXT (NYSE: UAVS), operating as AgEagle Aerial Systems Inc., unveiled the Altum-PT Pro sensor at the Commercial Unmanned Aerial Vehicle trade show in Las Vegas on Sept. 3, 2026.

The Altum-PT Pro is a drone-mounted sensor that captures multispectral, panchromatic, and radiometric thermal data simultaneously in a single payload. The device incorporates a FLIR Boson 640R radiometric thermal sensor, along with firmware updates and internal hardware adjustments, while retaining the multispectral and panchromatic capabilities of its predecessor, the Altum-PT.

The sensor is designed for use in agricultural research, environmental monitoring, defense applications, and ecological studies. It supports integration via Ethernet, MAVLink serial, PWM triggering, and HTTP APIs, and is compatible with multirotor and vertical takeoff and landing platforms.

"Customer feedback has been clear, users want the integrated thermal capability of the Altum-PT and also need science-grade thermal performance," said Bill Irby, CEO of EagleNXT. "This sensor delivers higher-resolution radiometric thermal data while preserving the multispectral and panchromatic performance researchers depend on."

The Altum-PT Pro is available for order by U.S. customers. International availability is planned for November 2026. The company did not disclose pricing in its announcement.
