Boeing wins $55M U.S. military order for actuator systems

Investing.com - Boeing (NYSE: BA) received a $55.4 million order from the U.S. Department of War for actuator systems and parts supporting the MH-47G helicopter program, the department announced Wednesday.

The firm-fixed-price order covers procurement of the Active Parallel Actuator System and associated parts under basic ordering agreement H9224126FE046. The contract was awarded to Boeing's Ridley Park, Pennsylvania facility.

The majority of the work will be performed in Ridley Park. The department said the work is expected to be completed by August 2033.

U.S. Special Operations Command at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida is the contracting activity. The order supports the MH-47G Program.

The contract number is W91215-16-G-0001.
