Kontoor Brands sets Helly Hansen revenue target above $1.1B by 2030
Kontoor Brands, Inc. (NYSE: KTB) outlined a long-term growth strategy and financial targets for its Helly Hansen brand at an investor day event, with the goal of reaching revenue above $1.1 billion by 2030.
The revenue target implies a compound annual growth rate of approximately 10% from a pro-forma base of $675 million in fiscal year 2025. Kontoor Brands acquired Helly Hansen on May 31, 2025, so the fiscal 2025 base figure is a non-GAAP measure that combines reported results with pre-acquisition revenue.
Additional 2030 targets for the Helly Hansen segment include a gross margin in the mid- to high-50% range, an operating margin in the mid-teens percentage range, and cumulative cash generation of more than $500 million through 2030. These targets apply to the Helly Hansen segment only and not to Kontoor Brands on a consolidated basis.
The growth strategy is built around three areas: expanding Helly Hansen's presence in the U.S. through wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels, competing across the premium outdoor market year-round, and scaling its European workwear business into North America.
"Helly Hansen is moving from a specialist European brand to a leading global premium, technical brand," said Børre Hegbom, Global Head of Helly Hansen, according to the press release.
The company noted that the 2030 targets are aspirational and based on assumptions including macroeconomic conditions, market growth rates, foreign currency exchange rates, and the company's ability to execute its strategy, many of which are outside its control.
