Sekur Private Data pivots to defense market, plans SekurOne launch
Sekur Private Data, Ltd. (OTCQB: SWISF, CSE: SKUR, FRA: GDT0) has issued a shareholder letter outlining its strategic shift from consumer privacy services toward government, defense, and intelligence clients, according to a press release dated September 1, 2026.
The company said its integrated encrypted communications platform, SekurOne, is scheduled for commercial launch on iOS and web in the first week of October 2026 at $300 per month, with Android availability following in November and conferencing and video features completing the platform by the end of December. The company said paid beta clients are being onboarded in September.
Sekur said total revenue has declined during the transition as legacy lower-priced subscribers have been shed faster than premium subscribers are being added, though average revenue per user rose 25% month over month in July. Management stated that approximately 200 SekurOne subscribers, representing roughly $60,000 in gross monthly recurring revenue, would bring the company to profitability.
The company added seven advisors and executives to its leadership structure between April and July, including Lt. Gen. Raymond Palumbo (Ret.) as Chairman of the Strategic Advisory Board and John T. Lewis, a 34-year CIA veteran, as Chief Technology Officer.
On the capital side, Sekur closed a non-brokered private placement of $1,205,560 in January and announced a further placement of up to $1,400,000 in June, priced at $0.07 per unit with warrants exercisable at $0.10. The company said it expects to close the second placement before mid-December 2026.
Sekur's Africa division is pursuing a potential exclusive partnership in Angola and has received a positive recommendation from a government security body in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The company said it expects to announce a resolution on the Angola discussions by the end of September.
The company's portfolio was listed on the GSA Multiple Award Schedule in February through contract 47QTCA18D0089, and a defense distribution agreement was signed with Elyon International in May.
