Cellebrite DI Ltd. (Nasdaq: CLBT) has launched the Cellebrite Tactical Extraction Kit (C-TEK), a portable digital forensics tool designed for military use in disconnected field environments, according to a company press release.

C-TEK is packaged in a standard-size backpack and contains ruggedized hardware and Cellebrite software capable of extracting and analyzing data from phones, SIM cards, drones and portable media at the point of capture, without requiring access to a laboratory or existing infrastructure.

The kit is intended for military units conducting sensitive site exploitation, where speed of data extraction affects follow-on operations. Cellebrite says the system is designed to be used across a team rather than by a single trained analyst.

"Battlefield intelligence has an expiration date measured in minutes, not months," said Marcus Jewell, chief revenue officer at Cellebrite. "With C-TEK, we are equipping the armed forces — not just a trained intelligence analyst — to capture and act on that data before it disappears."

The company said C-TEK is the first step in a broader effort to build a field intelligence solution for defense and intelligence customers. Cellebrite said it is developing a portable version of its Pathfinder analytics platform, an on-premises AI capability, an upgraded drone forensics tool called CFID V4, and a mobile kit for short-term deployments. No timeline or pricing was disclosed.
