Life Time (NYSE: LTH) announced the launch of LT Social, a private membership community designed to bring members together through social, wellness and entertainment events at Life Time locations across the United States.

The inaugural LT Social event is scheduled for September 12-13 at Life Time Sky in New York City. The invitation-only weekend includes a rooftop party on Saturday, followed by movement and recovery programming Sunday morning and a poolside afternoon with music and food.

According to the company, future events will take place at Life Time destinations in New York, Miami, Chicago, Minneapolis, Dallas, Denver, Phoenix and Southern California, with some events timed to coincide with local cultural, sporting and entertainment occasions.

Founder, Chairman and CEO Bahram Akradi said in a statement: "LT Social will create events worth getting on a plane for."

A waitlist for LT Social is currently open through the Life Time app. Membership applications are set to open in mid-September. Life Time operates more than 195 athletic clubs across the U.S. and Canada.
