Six Flags Entertainment Corporation (NYSE: FUN) announced plans to relocate its corporate headquarters from Charlotte, N.C., to Arlington, Texas, with the move expected to be completed by March 2027.

The company's Arlington offices are located at Choctaw Stadium, which has served as a corporate office since 2020 and currently houses a portion of its corporate workforce. The Arlington headquarters will serve as the primary hub for corporate leadership and shared business functions.

Six Flags operates 34 amusement and water parks and nine resorts across North America, including five parks in Texas. The company said it will maintain an office in Sandusky, Ohio.

"Arlington is an outstanding location for our headquarters and supports our long-term vision for growth," said John Reilly, president and CEO of Six Flags Entertainment Corporation. "Bringing our corporate teams together in the office will improve collaboration, strengthen our culture, enhance support for our parks and resorts."

Arlington is also the location of Six Flags Over Texas, which opened in 1961 as the company's original park. Reilly noted that the office is situated next to the park, giving leadership direct proximity to the property.

The company said Charlotte-based employees will have the opportunity to relocate to Arlington. Six Flags stated it will continue investing in Carowinds and Carolina Harbor in the Charlotte region, including a new attraction, Rip Roarin' Falls, scheduled to open in 2027.

Six Flags also outlined several planned attractions across its park network for the 2027 season, including Bakunawa, described as the world's tallest and fastest spinning coaster, at Six Flags Great Adventure, and Werewolf Gorge, described as the world's longest family launch coaster, at Six Flags Fiesta Texas.
