Tigo Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: TYGO) has issued a Certificate of Compatibility with Ingeteam S.A., confirming that certain Ingeteam inverters and Tigo Flex module-level power electronics (MLPE) products have passed compatibility testing, according to a press release from the companies.

The certificate covers ten INGECON® SUN inverter models, including single-phase and three-phase configurations, along with seven Tigo TS4 MLPE devices: TS4-A-O, TS4-A-S, TS4-A-F, TS4-A-2F, TS4-X-O, TS4-X-S, and TS4-X-F. The certified product combinations are intended for residential, commercial and industrial, and utility solar installations.

Ingeteam, headquartered in Spain, operates in 15 countries and reports having installed approximately 36 gigawatts of inverter capacity worldwide. The company employs around 3,800 people, with more than 500 working in research and development.

Gal Bauer, senior director of validation, customer success and product management at Tigo, said the certification demonstrates both companies' commitment to an open technology ecosystem that allows solar installers and system designers to select compatible components.

The two companies plan to host a joint webinar titled "Building Smarter Solar Systems Through Open Compatibility" on September 16, from 16:00 to 17:00 CEST.
