Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE: OSK) hosted Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth at its Wisconsin facility as part of his nationwide "Arsenal of Freedom" tour, according to a company press release.

During the visit, Hegseth viewed several of Oshkosh's military vehicle platforms, including the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV), the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV), and the Remotely Operated Ground Unit for Expeditionary Fires (ROGUE-Fires).

"We came to Oshkosh because Oshkosh is a model for the other commercial manufacturers to step up when your country needs you," Hegseth said during the visit.

Oshkosh Defense has produced more than 25,000 JLTVs for the U.S. Armed Forces and allied partners since receiving the original contract in 2015. The company states its JLTV supply chain includes more than 300 suppliers.

John Pfeifer, President and CEO of Oshkosh Corporation, noted that roughly 90% of the company's production is for commercial civilian use, with defense manufacturing integrated into the same production facilities.

Oshkosh Corporation employs over 19,000 people worldwide and is headquartered in Wisconsin.
