UL Solutions launches retail supply chain software platform
UL Solutions Inc. (NYSE: ULS) announced the launch of Retail Total Access, a software platform designed to help retailers manage product quality and supply chain risk through a unified view of data, according to a company statement.
The platform consolidates testing, inspection and audit information into a single system, allowing retail quality teams to monitor supplier performance, identify recurring issues and respond to problems earlier in the supply chain process.
The software includes tools to submit testing, inspection and audit requests, track progress, access reports and images, manage failures and review performance through analytics. It is designed to help teams assess quality performance across suppliers and regions, analyze trends, identify inefficiencies and reduce risk from underperforming suppliers.
"Retailers need a clearer view of quality and risk across their supply chains and their product life cycles," said Josh Warren, vice president and general manager of the Retail and Consumer Products group at UL Solutions. "Our Retail Total Access platform brings key data together so teams can spot issues sooner and act with confidence."
The platform was developed based on customer input and is intended to address quality and compliance needs across global retail supply chains. UL Solutions said features and functionality will continue to be added over time.
