OBOOK Holdings posts $18.8M net loss as OwlPay Harbor volume rises
OBOOK Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: OWLS), which operates under the OwlTing Group brand, reported an unaudited net loss of $18.82 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026, compared with a net loss of $3.91 million in the same period a year earlier, according to a company press release.
Total revenue was $3.87 million, up 0.8% from $3.84 million in the first half of 2025. Payment services revenue fell 2.8% to $2.11 million, while hospitality services revenue rose 11% to $1.54 million. E-commerce revenue declined 22.2% to $0.22 million.
The increase in net loss was driven largely by $10.44 million in non-cash share-based compensation, $2.50 million in finance costs tied to a senior secured convertible note issued during the period, and the absence of a $2.49 million foreign exchange gain recorded in the prior-year period. Adjusted net loss, excluding share-based compensation and convertible note finance costs, was approximately $5.9 million. Operating cash outflows totaled $6.07 million, compared with $1.29 million in the first half of 2025. Cash and restricted cash stood at $11.86 million as of June 30, 2026.
Post-period operating metrics showed the company's OwlPay Harbor stablecoin payment platform recording an annualized payment volume of approximately $160 million based on the trailing 30 days as of August 20, 2026, up from approximately $130 million as of August 13, 2026. July 2026 payment volume on Harbor rose 107.6% month over month, marking six consecutive months of sequential growth. Enterprise clients on Harbor increased to 79 as of July 31, 2026, from 67 as of June 30, 2026.
Cumulative processed payment volume across the full OwlPay platform surpassed $700 million after the period ended, up from $600 million as of June 30, 2026. The company has set a target for cumulative volume to exceed $1 billion by December 31, 2026. The company noted this target is an operating measure and does not constitute revenue guidance.
The company obtained a Money Transmitter License in Ohio during the first half, bringing its U.S. state coverage to 42. It is also in preliminary discussions with Taiwanese financial institutions regarding potential payment infrastructure collaboration, though no agreements have been reached.
