Suja Life refinances credit agreement, cuts borrowing spread

August 20, 2026 4:05 PM

Suja Life, Inc. (NASDAQ: SUJA) has entered into an Amended and Restated Credit Agreement with JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. as administrative agent, the company announced. The agreement amends and restates an existing credit agreement originally dated August 23, 2021.

Under the new terms, the applicable interest rate is the Term SOFR Rate plus 1.75%, 2.00%, or 2.25% per annum, determined by the company's consolidated net leverage ratio.

The company said it is not taking on additional debt through the transaction. Suja Life expects its 2026 total interest expense to improve to $18.0 million as a result of the refinancing.

Jeff Pedersen, Chief Financial Officer of Suja Life, said the company has prioritized reducing its cost of capital since its IPO. "We believe that the consistency of our cash flow generation gave our lenders the confidence to back this refinancing on improved terms," Pedersen said. "This refinancing reflects our partnership with our banks and delivers a substantial reduction in our borrowing spread, with a corresponding benefit to our available cash flow."

Suja Life makes beverages under three brands — Suja Organic, Vive Organic, and Slice Soda — and completed its IPO in May 2026.
