Nexxen launches unified smart TV home screen ad standards

August 20, 2026 9:03 AM

Nexxen (NASDAQ: NEXN) announced the launch of standardized Smart TV home screen inventory specifications across original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), according to a company press release dated Aug. 20, 2026.

The initiative addresses longstanding inconsistencies in Connected TV native inventory, where ad sizes, formats and click actions have varied widely across OEMs, making it difficult for advertisers and demand-side platforms (DSPs) to scale campaigns across multiple manufacturers.

Through its Nexxen TV Home Screen product, the company introduced a unified framework that allows DSPs and buyers to bid programmatically on home screen placements, including hero banner and tile formats. The system uses a standardized request structure and incorporates dynamic creative optimization technology from Nexxen Studio, the company's in-house creative unit.

Partners currently using Nexxen TV Home Screen include The Trade Desk, Google Display & Video 360, StackAdapt, Basis, Brainlabs and H/L. OEMs with programmatic access through the platform include V, TCL and TiVo Ads.

"By standardizing these formats across OEMs, it's another major step toward a more streamlined cross-platform ecosystem that better enables buyers, DSPs and brands alike," said Kara Puccinelli, Chief Commercial Officer at Nexxen.

Nexxen is headquartered in Israel and maintains offices across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
