August 19, 2026 4:00 PM

LifeLock, a brand of Gen (NASDAQ: GEN), announced new scam protection features, a redesigned product interface, and an updated brand identity, according to a company press release dated Aug. 19, 2026.

The new features added for members include real-time scam verification, scam reimbursement coverage, card exposure control, and enhanced anomaly detection across financial accounts. Scam reimbursement coverage is available to U.S. residents except those in New York, with benefits issued by HSB Specialty Insurance Company.

The product interface has been redesigned to allow members to respond to alerts, lock or unlock their credit, and view identity, money, and asset information in a single view.

LifeLock also introduced a refreshed brand identity, including a new color palette and a redesigned logo. The company reorganized its offerings into three plans: LifeLock Core, LifeLock Advanced, and LifeLock Total.

The announcements come alongside data from Gen's Fearless Planet Index, which tracks cyber threats across 245 countries and territories. The index recorded more than 120 million phishing attacks in a recent 30-day period, with scams and malicious advertising accounting for more than 80% of categorized threats.

"Behind every identity is a person building a life, and that person has always been at the center of our mission," said Ian Bednowitz, general manager for LifeLock. "What has changed is the threat. In the wrong hands, AI can now forge a face, a voice, even a whole identity – making scams faster, more convincing and harder to spot than even a few years ago."

The rollout of the updated experience began on the date of the announcement, with additional changes expected in the following weeks.
