Kulicke & Soffa Industries (NASDAQ: KLIC) announced the appointment of Dr. Raj Talluri as president and chief executive officer, effective September 1, 2026. He was also elected to the company's board of directors effective August 17, 2026.

Dr. Talluri joins Kulicke & Soffa from Enovix Corporation, a Nasdaq-listed battery technology company, where he served as president, CEO, and board member. Before Enovix, he served as senior vice president and general manager of the mobile business unit at Micron Technology from March 2018 through December 2022. He previously held senior executive roles at Qualcomm CDMA Technologies and engineering and business leadership positions at Texas Instruments.

Dr. Talluri holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, an M.Eng from Anna University, and a B.S. in engineering from Andhra University.

Lester A. Wong, who served as interim CEO, will continue in his role as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Peter T. Kong, chairman of the board, said the company is "grateful to Lester for providing great leadership during our transition."
